The IONEL factory was founded in 1945 under the name
"Sewing Factory No. 1". During the development of the new brand identity,
our task was to preserve the historical heritage
and highlight key aspects while creating a new, modern, and unique branding.
In creating the logo, we drew inspiration from history, focusing on the original name "Sewing Factory No. 1," which became a hidden meaning. The word "ONE" is embedded in the name itself, and to further emphasize this meaning, we transformed the letter "I" into the numeral one.
As the theme for creating the pattern,
it was decided to use the flora and fauna
of Moldova, much of which has been listed
in the Red Book.
